In 2007 a chemical manufacturer called on ESS to provide an acid resistant surface for secondary containment. Several issues
needed to be addressed in order to achieve a successful installation. First, we needed to remove the damaged liner. Second, we rebuilt
and sloped the damaged concrete substrate. Once the area was adequately prepared, we applied a coating system selected to stand
up to the exposure from chemicals and the elements. Through proper design and selection of materials ESS provided the customer a safe,
monolithic long-term solution to their problem.
